Bulldogs Prevail, as Wildcard Series Goes to the Wire Friday, October 9th, 2026 There certainly wasn't much separating the Topeka Bulldogs and Eureka Goldrush in this year's Wildcard Series. In the end, it was the Bulldogs advancing to the Division Series with a 1-0 win at Lenscrafters 20/20 Park, to cap off a thrilling 2-1 series win. Bulldogs left-hander and series MVP Elijah Frazier took a short break from the clubhouse victory celebration to tell BNN reporters that "winning a series in the last game makes it all the more sweet." For the series, Frazier's performance no doubt made things even sweeter. He had a 0.00 ERA over 8 innings pitched, with a 1-0 record. The Division Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes. |
