Wildcard Series Goes the Distance, Toledo Prevails Saturday, October 10th, 2026 In an exciting Wildcard Series that had its fair share of drama and intrigue, perhaps it is Federal Baseball League fans who have come out the winner. But on the field, the winners were the Toledo Cheesepressers, who edged the Boise Idahosies 2-1 to advance to the Division Series. Toledo won the final game by a 2-1 count to wrap up the series. Bobby Ware earned series MVP honors, by hitting .500 with a .625 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 4 runs.
