New Haven Takes Wildcard Series in Deciding Game Saturday, October 10th, 2026 It was a rousing finish to the Wildcard Series at Flagship Field today. The New Haven Tempest sent the Little Rock Mighty Cocks home for the season with a 10-6 win in the decisive game of the series. The Tempest took the series 2-1. Up next on their schedule is the Division Series. Hauling in the MVP trophy was New Haven right fielder Louis Hendrickx. His numbers included a .545 batting average, 1 RBIs and 1 runs. "With any luck, I'll be hoisting another one of these at the end of the Division Series," he said. The Division Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes.
