Baja's McCreary Wins PL Best Ballplayer Award Saturday, November 21st, 2026 Devin McCreary took Federal Baseball League by storm this year and he did it all at the age of 25. For his spectacular campaign, the Baja Party Burros star has been named the 2026 Patriot League Best Ballplayer Award recipient. "To be considered amongst the best in the league is pretty overwhelming," said the catcher. On the season he compiled a .292 batting average to go with a .395 on-base percentage. The native of Wood-Ridge, New Jersey also added 35 doubles, no triples, 31 home runs, 107 RBIs and 77 runs scored. Juan Torres of the Topeka Bulldogs finished second in voting, while Ricky Estrada of the Cheyenne Sentinels finished third. |
