New Haven, Bismarck Close Deal Saturday, November 28th, 2026 New Haven and Bismarck announced some roster changes today as the Tempest acquired 27-year-old C Mike Kirkland and 37-year-old RHP Mark Koenig from the Dire Wolves in exchange for 32-year-old RHP Dan Hindes, 28-year-old minor league RHP Joe Kelly, 20-year-old minor league RHP Javier Valtier, a 4th round draft pick and $1,500,000 in cash. Representatives from both teams say they are pleased with the deal. In career stats, the 32-year-old Hindes has won 76 and lost 54, recording 912 strikeouts and 295 walks in 1124 innings with a 4.16 ERA. Opponents have hit .260 against him. His career stats show that Koenig has racked up 99 victories and 84 defeats and has recorded an ERA of 3.88. |
