Tempest, Kingfishers Trade Players Tuesday, December 1st, 2026 It likely won't turn either team into an instant contender or provide a huge franchise shakeup, but the New Haven Tempest and Corpus Christi Kingfishers finalized a trade today. New Haven will send 21-year-old minor league SS Mike Fowler, 22-year-old minor league RF Lao-sheng Chen, 24-year-old minor league 3B Mark Dinga and a 6th round draft pick to the Kingfishers, while the Tempest will receive 24-year-old 3B Danny Ziebarth. "We think this is a deal that will help out both teams and we're glad to get it done," the Tempest general manager said. The trade is expected to be officially completed later today with the players joining their new ballclubs by the end of the day. |
