In a low-scoring game between the Toledo Cheesepressers and the Knoxville Running Rebels, pitcher Wilber York was masterful on the mound. The Toledo right-hander was named the player of the game in Toledo's 2-1 win. The Cheesepressers are now 96-54, while the Running Rebels fall to 55-96.

Toledo took a 2-1 lead on Nate McCleary's 195th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which McCleary hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Knoxville pitcher Chris Salazar visibly frustrated.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," McCleary told the Toledo Gazette.
