Toledo Cheesepressers starter Brad Ruggerio was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Little Rock Mighty Cocks, 5-3. The winning pitcher was Ruggerio, now 16-6. He tossed 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 6. Robby Cappel closed it out for his 39th save.

Phil Hubbard's at-bat in the bottom of the sixth was significant for the Cheesepressers. Coming to the plate with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Toledo leading 2-0, the right fielder hit a 2-run single.

"Brad was throwing free and easy," said Toledo manager Matt Perrone.
