The Honolulu Waterspouts beat the Toledo Cheesepressers, 7-6 at Coconuts Park, in part due to first baseman Travis Arnall, who nabbed player of the game honors. He went 3 for 4 with a triple and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Jim Cannon, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 3rd save. The 'W' lifts Honolulu's record to 42-25.
Arnall came through with some timely hitting for Honolulu. With the score 5-2 in the bottom of the fifth and no one down, Arnall hit a first pitch slider for a 2-run triple. His 3rd triple of the season made it 5-4, Honolulu.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Arnall said.
