Brunt Lays Hammer Down in 5-0 Win
Toledo starter Eric Brunt put a stranglehold on the Kalamazoo offense. The right-hander had complete command of his splitter in leading the Cheesepressers to a 5-0 win. At 41-38, the Cheesepressers find themselves in second place in the United League East Division.

Brunt allowed no earned runs on 5 hits over 8.1 innings for the Cheesepressers. He walked 1 and struck out 10.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Brunt said.
