Ice Sox Win Again, Extend Series Lead to 2-0
Riding the 5-hit performance of designated hitter Matthew Uhler, the Anchorage Ice Sox got a road win against the New Haven Tempest, 14-4, in Game 2 of the World Series today. Uhler was 5-5 with 5 singles and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Ice Sox, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 0.

Ricky Magdaleno, who is rated as the 9th best prospect by BNN, aided the Anchorage cause with a grand slam home run in the top of the ninth. For the game, the first baseman was 1 for 1 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4.

"I like our moxie," said Ice Sox manager John Kall.

The next game is set to be played on Wednesday, October 24th, 2018 at Cabela's Park. The scheduled starters for the game are Steve Rhodes for the Tempest and Ralph Hazell for the Ice Sox.
