The Toledo Cheesepressers did just enough to sneak past the Havana Knights, 2-1, at Montecristo Field. Toledo pitcher Neal Drinkwater earned player of the game honors. At 78-46, the Cheesepressers are currently first in the United League East Division.

The Cheesepressers got a big at-bat from left fielder Steve Gambino. For the game, Gambino was 1 for 4 with a home run. In the top of the fourth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 18th home run of the season gave Toledo a 2-1 lead.

"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Gambino.
