Kalamazoo pitcher Leo Rojas did his part in helping his team beat the Thunder Bay Corsairs, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Elias Sanchez, credited with the save, is now 15 for 16 in save opportunities. The second-place Hullabaloo now have a 8-game winning streak.

In the top of the second inning, second baseman Mike Rowan came through big-time for the Hullabaloo. With Kalamazoo leading 2-0, he belted a 2-run home run.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Thunder Bay manager Nate Clutts. "But we decided not to take it."
