Jentsch Delivers Clutch At-Bat for Little Rock in Walk-Off Win
|
Toledo got a terrific performance from designated hitter Nate McCleary, but it wasn't enough to beat the Little Rock Mighty Cocks. Little Rock won the Durex Field contest, 5-4. McCleary was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The Mighty Cocks now have a record of 56-82.
Chris Jentsch was the walk-off hero for Little Rock. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Mighty Cocks designated hitter hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Jentsch.
