The Toledo Cheesepressers topped the Wichita Warlocks, 5-3, in United League action at Velveeta Field. The player of the game was Toledo pitcher Wilber York. Toledo leads the United League East Division by 9 games.

In the bottom of the 6th, center fielder Ray Velazquez gave Toledo the lead when he hit a 2-run home run. The Cheesepressers had been trailing 3-2, but the two-out home run off Wichita pitcher Paul Castle changed that -- and Toledo went on to win.

"I try to not think too much," said Velazquez.
