Pride Win at Toledo, 5-2

Savannah and Toledo duked it out at Velveeta Field and the Pride came out victorious.
The Savannah Pride got a stellar performance from pitcher Aaron Dewey, who handcuffed the Toledo offense en route to a 5-2 win at Velveeta Field. Dewey went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 9 hits, walked 1, and struck out 2. His record improves to 2-4. Matt Bursley earned his 9th save in 13 tries.
Brian Jones helped out the Savannah cause in the top of the second inning with a 2-run double. For the game, the catcher went 1 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Savannah manager John Muir.
This win makes it 5 in a row for Savannah.
